Screening Economics of Happiness at Kafe Kerouac Monday, February 24 at 7 PM
In honor of our Book Club selection, Local Is Our Future, we are showing the award winning documentary that inspired the new book by Helena Norberg-Hodge. All are welcome but we will have copies of the book available for a discounted price of $10. In addition to the main film, we will introduce the latest short videos about Localization, the antidote to economic globalization. Read more about the book in the Learn Section.

Simply News is coming in February and the print and online editions will announce details about the Annual Meeting, new Meetups, and new film events in March, and April. 

Fantastic Fungi SOLD OUT last Friday and the positive buzz from our excellent panel led to multiple sold out screenings. The GOOD NEWS is that this amazing documentary is being HELD OVER this week so if you missed it you can still experience it – tickets and showtimes at the Gateway are HERE.

   > The Sunrise Movement is hosting a Green New Deal Launch event at the Karl Rd branch library on Sunday, February 2nd from 2-4 pm.
   > Green Bexley is hosting a screening of Wasted! The Story of Food Waste at the Drexel on Monday, March 3rd at 7 PM.”
   > The EPN film series is screening Ice on Fire at OSU next Tuesday evening Jan 28 at 7 PM. Leonardo DiCaprio produced the documentary and stars alongside Thom Hartmann,  Michael Mann, and other experts on the climate crisis.
   > I hope to see many of you at the screening of Transition 2.0 this Saturday at the First UU Church in Clintonville. Doors open at 4:30 pm, Film at 5. It documents positive local change in diverse settings around the world.
