See the Learn section Simply Living is hosting a Sharing Circle at Comfest to discuss Living Better with Less. Also at Comfest, don’t miss Dr, Fadhel Kaboub’s talk on local currency and the public benefits of a local public bank!  Green Drinks is kicking off the Central Ohio Commuter Challenge at Brothers Drake.  Blue Rock Station workshops are updated through July, including the weeklong course for solar electric certification. ~ Lily Kunning offers the latest insights on keeping your GUT healthy.  More learning opportunities with SLSU coming soon after we update that section of our website (sorry for any inconvenience while it has been unavailable.)

See the Community section Columbus Underground announces their HEALTHY LIVING FESTIVAL July 22 at Jorgensen Farms. The  Care & Share Time Bank potluck on June 17 will feature “fun and games.” ~ Columbus Underground’s Mega Weekend has lots of Pride events, activities for Father’ Day and lots more!

See the Arts & Culture section for Pat Marida’s annual listing of FREE Outdoor Concerts and we have selected events this week. ~ The BluesSwing band will be at Tara Hall TONIGHT and next Friday too ~ Steve Stanley, an award winning singer songwriter with Mansfield roots will be at Java Central Saturday. Nita Sweeney’s poetry and literary calendar has been updated with readings through the end of June..The Irish Family Festival at the Shamrock Club features a full day of bands, including WhineStopper and San Patricios. Local plays are listed with a link the Columbus Civic’s new play starting next week. CAMP EMA, the awesome camp for kids by kids, was featured Thursday in the Metro Section of the Dispatch!  Kudos to Edee Malley and Marisa Tayal. SEE the Local Foods section for events at the Worthington and Clintonville farmers markets and the new Linden Farmers Market will launch July 1st. See upcoming gardening events at the Franklin Park Conservatory. The CU list of local farmers markets should be shared widely!
