Have you ever joined us for a Simply Living tour, workshop, film, or community event? If so, you’ve already experienced Simply Living Sustainable U (SLSU)! This member-led program is the heart of our community education work—bringing people together to learn, connect, and take action for sustainability, environmental justice, and a thriving local economy right here in Central Ohio.
Every SLSU offering – whether it’s a hands-on course, a garden or farm tour, a guest speaker, or a cozy film discussion – is designed to spark curiosity and make learning feel alive. We intentionally mix formats so there’s something for every learning style: maybe you love exploring ideas through guided discussions, or perhaps you learn best by seeing sustainability in action out in the community. Either way, SLSU is here to make learning meaningful, accessible, and fun. These pictures are only a few of the awesome adventures we went on together in 2025!
As we wrap up the year and continue planning for 2026, we’d love your input. Periodically we like to take a “pulse check” to be sure our Sustainable U programming truly reflects what our community wants and needs. We have a wide range of possible offerings, but we want to focus on the ones that matter most to you.
