The Northland Bazaar announces their fall event hosting free tables for local growers and crafters. Green Columbus is giving away TREES.  Earth Day week is opening registration for work sites!
SEE the Arts & Culture section for local entertainment events! Virtuoso guitarist Jim Volk is at Java Central. February poetry readings are listed, and the Blues Swing band will be featured at the Folkside Coffeehouse on Feb 24. It’s not too late to take in a play.

All are welcome as we gather to celebrate our past work, enjoy a potluck luncheon, and outline the Board’s “break out” plans for 2018! Our Simply Living values are needed now more than ever. We are very pleased to announce that Karyn Deibel will be honored this year with the Carol Fisher Award for Civic Engagement!  Karyn’s diverse career and achievements as a chef, healer, Compassionate Communicator,Trager practitioner, community rights advocate and environmentalist are matched only by her wise presence and peaceful being.

In addition, the Board has created a new award for the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year.

We are delighted to honor Vilvi Vannak as the first recipient of this award. Vilvi has been our tireless volunteer recruiter for Comfest, and serves as our liaison to the Care & Share Time Bank.  You can read the full press release for the Annual Meeting HERE.
