See the Learn section NOTE: We’re screening Minimalism:at Studio 35. It’s our “MAY” movie but we had to schedule it on Saturday, June 2nd from 1-3pm. OurJune 10 movie is The Third Industrial Revolution: A Radical New Sharing Economy. It’s a high tech, high touch, practical, doable optimistic path to a sustainable future based on the work of Jeremy Rifkin. OSU and MORPC are collaborating on a forum to discuss Building Resilient Communities in a Changing Climate. It’s free and open to the public. Last chance to sign up for the EPN breakfast program: All about the Maple!

The Urban Art Space is hosting a reception for 34 senior OSU art majors and their final projects. Keep Wayne Wild is co-sponsoring the Heartwood Forest Council meeting. Over the Fence Urban Farm in Clintonville has a new blog to enjoy. Wild Art Auction and Partyinvites you to participate. New Herbal workshops by Lily Kunning are planned in May. Simply Living will be at Green on the Green TOMORROW morning 8 am – 12 noon. Don’t miss Dianne Kadonaga of Sunny Glen Wellness urban farm’s plant sale Sunday. The Brunch Feed Your Soul from Available Light Theater promises to be unique and a LOT of FUN!

See the Arts & Culture section for local entertainment events this weekend and beyond! Sara Trattner is the award winning poet featured the May 7 Poetry Forum – last one until Fall. Nita Sweeney’s wonderful poetry calendar has been updated for May! Christy Snow will perform at the First Saturday Chant, and she will lead the music and the message on Sunday at the Unity Church in Delaware. Luke Mossburg and friends will be raising money for a charity SOUL FUEL to help house the homeless at Java Central Saturday. Bill Cohen has a new concert: The Joys and Oys of Growing Older. Frank Tennyson has organized a terrific line-up of local bands performing at Eric Ahlteen’s Troubadour Farm in Galena. It’s $10 and proceeds will be shared with the bands.
