Dynamic Course Opportunity - Agent of Change

Simply Living will offer the following course for six Thursdays beginning January 26, 2012, at the Ohio Union.

We all have ideas, which we can use to create a positive impact to protect the Earth. Agent of Change provides a natural arena for a motivated individual to engage in creating a more sustainable culture. The course provides individuals the opportunity to use their ideas to develop strategies and plan for change, and take steps of early implementation, in consultation with other members in the class.

Specific topics covered include:

  • Theories and strategies for cultural change.
  • Clarifying your vision.
  • Taking your first steps to effect change.
  • Implementing your plan.
  • Inviting others; creating a core group.
  • Maintaining momentum.

Presenters: Our presenters include Sara Rampersaud, owner of EcoAssist consulting; Erin Chacey, former director of Green Columbus; and Jeanine Sands, organizer of Sustainable Clintonville.

Participants:  A group of 8-16 motivated individuals who are committed to creating a sustainable future and who are ready to plan and implement a project to reduce human impact on the earth.
